DUI Attorney Elmer H. (Pete) Young

DUI Attorney Elmer H. (Pete) Young is a 1975 graduate of John Marshall Law School. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Georgia, Georgia State University and Columbus State University. His practice is substantially dedicated to drunk driving, DUI penalties and other alcohol and drug-related traffic matters, including vehicular homicide.

Mr. Young is a frequent lecturer on legal subjects, particularly Georgia DUI laws, at various civic groups, legal seminars and public interest forums. He has produced a radio series and has been approved as a National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Instructor of Standardized Field Sobriety Testing.

Mr. Young is also a graduate of the advanced drunk driving law course "Mastering Scientific Evidence in DUI/DWI Cases" and has been a guest speaker at the Defense of Drinking Drivers seminar sponsored by the Institute of Continuing Legal Education. As a prominent DUI defense lawyer, Mr. Young is an active member of the National College for DUI Defense. He was recognized by his mentors and peers in 2002, by being awarded "Most Amazing Jury Verdict."

Mr. Young has been successful in obtaining approximately 88 percent non-DUI dispositions in his DUI/DWI cases. He has, therefore, become "the" DUI lawyer in Augusta, Statesboro and the Central Savannah River Area of eastern Georgia.
